Fast Gas Check H2 Leak Detector Features
The Gas-Check-H2 system is engineered to pinpoint even tiny leakages with exceptional accuracy. This is due to the inherent properties of hydrogen, which, owing to its minute molecular size, diffuses through virtually any material.
To detect leaks, the pipeline section under investigation is fully filled with a hydrogen-rich gas mixture. The pressure within the pipe is then gradually increased. As gas escapes from a leak, the measurement on the Gas-Check-H2 will vary in direct relation to the size of the leakage, the type of surrounding soil, and the surface structure above the pipe.
The leak on the pipeline will be directly beneath the location exhibiting the highest concentration of escaping gas. Typically, the pinpointed location indicated by the Gas-Check-H2 deviates by no more than a few centimeters from the actual leakage point, ensuring highly precise and efficient leak identification.
